Real Gmail Signatures, Finally!!!
Well, it’s about time that one of the most popular web-based email clients on the planet finally came up to speed.
Gmail “Labs” now contains a feature for “fixing” your signature so that it doesn’t always append itself to the bottom of all of your messages.
To make it work with your account, login to Gmail (or Google Apps) and click "Settings" at the top of the page. On the page that appears, click on "Labs". That link will be all the way on the right side of the links (left of "Tabs") near the top of the page. Next, scroll down until you see "Signature Tweaks" and enable it. Then, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click "Save Changes". Now your signatures will work as expected.
I’m not sure how long this feature has been there. I just stumbled on it by accident today. This means I can disable Greasemonkey as the only script I was running was the Gmail HTML Signatures script. One extension down, seemingly hundreds to go.
