The TripleHead2Go makes a single virtual screen that spans two monitors. The EVGA makes a single screen. I prefer the EVGA so my windows can snap to the screen.

The USB lag is better, but still a little annoying. :)

I have seen the TripleHead2Go before. It looks to be a great product, but at about three times the cost of the EVGA piece, it should be. :-)

The EVGA works perfectly on Vista using my MBP, so I'm confident that once they get the driver issues worked out it will be fine in OS X as well.

I would like the higher resolution of the TripleHead2Go, though.

You can also connect additional displays to your MacBook Pro using a TripleHead2Go. It uses your system's GPU so you get great 3D and video across all monitors. You can get up to 1920x1200 resolution on two additional monitors, or connect three extra monitors (though max res on each is 1280x1024).
