Bag Fetish, North Face Bosque 0
I admit it. I have a slight problem with buying backpacks and/or laptop bags. But, there are worse things, right? I mean, I’m not buying drugs or anything.
I’ve had a couple of people ask me about the backpack I’m using now so I thought I would just put a post up here about it in case anyone else cared.
On my recent trip to the Future of Web Design conference in London, I strolled into an outdoor gear store. While browsing around, I came across this pack. It’s made by North Face and is called “Bosque”. I would consider it a small, light weight, day pack. It has a compartment for the hydration bladder that is absolutely perfect to slide in a 15” Mac Book Pro after you remove the aluminum back supports from the pack. The tight fit for the laptop makes me feel like it is keeping it from flopping around in the pack. However, since it is so light, it doesn’t provide much padding around the laptop. So, you have to be a little careful around that part.
Here are some pictures of the pack.
Here is all of the junk I normally carry in it, plus the camera I’m taking these photos with.
I’ve been using this pack for a couple of months now and I’m very happy with it. No complaints whatsoever. The thing I like most about it is how light weight it is and how well built is it. Plus, it’s very compact and doesn’t waste any space which makes it easy to carry on a plane or stuff in an overhead bin.
Highly recommended to anyone carrying a 15” laptop.
