Sword Play 0

Aug13

Recently I have spent a lot of time researching audio and video equipment. I bought a Canon XH-A1 a couple of months ago, but I was using the onboard mic for most of the audio. I broke down last week and ordered a new shotgun mic. It’s a AT875 made by Audio Technica. I haven’t had much time to play with it yet, but it will be put to the test this weekend when I go out for a field test for the upcoming King of the Hill race in Florette, AL.

I have also ordered a Canon HV30 with NTG-2 mic to serve as a b-roll camera. I will also have a Canon HG-10 with a Rode VideoMic for use on this shoot. Hopefully this will be enough coverage for the event.
